Login issues with Slate

Are you having issues logging into the production version of Slate or the Test instance?

As a reminder, Test Slate is refreshed weekly. Any test login or applicant will need to be created again on a weekly basis.

Account Creation, Security

Access to Slate is granted on a per-department basis: you will only be able to interact with applications that belong to your department.

Slate Role: Please select below the level of access needed for your department's application population.

Roles:

Application View - this person can view applications and application decisions but cannot do any transactions in Slate.

Application Read/Review - this person can use the Slate Reader to read/review applications in Slate.

Admissions Staff - this person can do all transactions the Admissions Management role can do except release admissions decisions and pay the application fee on behalf of an applicant.

Admissions Management - This role allows release of admissions decisions and payment of the application fee on behalf of an applicant.

(Please also note that Admissions Staff & Admissions Management can also Read/Review).

Decisions that were released cannot be undone by the GradSlate Team. If you need to reverse this decision, please file a Status Change petition.

If you need an expiration date adjusted, please list the exact date and time, in Eastern, you need. (I.e., 12/31/2023, 4:00AM Eastern).

Reader Review Form / Bin Deletion

This should be used if you need to delete a Reader Review Form for any specific purpose.

Please give us the applicant ID, the specific reviewer and review form that needs to be deleted.

Please note that if you need to modify any of your data for query purposes, you can edit data via the 'Admissions Review' tab on the right-hand selection in the application record.

Bin Movement:

IMPORTANT: If you have not submitted a ticket to configure whether you are reviewing in Slate and doing an Operations review in Slate, your applications will not be in the correct bin.

ALSO IMPORTANT: If you are performing an Operations Review Step, generally 'Review I Routing' will move the application to Review I or to Assign Decision automatically, based on your application configuration.
