GSEE Power Hours are designed with introspective and professional growth in mind. Historically underrepresented graduate students participate in interactive discussions surrounding topics that are unique to their academic and professional journeys.

Join GSEE for our second Power Hour of Winter Quarter in CMU 126! We are grateful to be holding space with Dr. Charisse Williams, the Assistant Director and Counseling Psychologist of the UW Counseling Center. She will be leading graduate students through introspective work as well as facilitating conversation on mental health and wellness during the winter season and throughout your academic journey. This Power Hour, "Being Well: Whole Wellness Practice from the Self to Community," evolved from the suggestion of a few of our graduate students. No matter where you are in your academic program, there is a shared understanding of the weight that course load, finding community, and everyday life can leave us feeling exhausted and defeated. GSEE wants to provide a space for graduate students to gather together and learn about resources that can support wellness practices during the academic year.

We are looking forward to seeing you there!

    With care,

    The GSEE Team
