Contact Information Graduate Program Advisor Program Website iasgrad@uw.edu Requirements and Prerequisites A minimum 3.0 grade-point-average on a 4-point scale (or equivalent measures of performance if a graduate of an institution with no grading system) for those credits earned at the institution awarding the bachelor’s degree OR at least a 3.0 grade-point-average (on a 4-point scale) for the last 90 graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits. Prior coursework, research, or professional experience showing evidence of statistical and microeconomic thinking is strongly recommended. Experience in qualitative research methods, political analysis, sociological research, and ethical reasoning is also suggested. Letters of recommendation are needed before review. GRE Requirements GRE Requirement: Optional/Not Required. Submitting GRE scores is not required. However, if official scores are submitted, they may be considered during the review process. More Information: The GRE is NOT required for admission, but strong scores can strengthen your application.
