    Requirements and Prerequisites
    • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States or its equivalent from a foreign institution
    • A minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) for the last 60 graded semester credits or 90 graded quarter credits
    • Demonstrated English-language proficiency for applicants whose native language is not English

    GRE Requirement: Not Considered. GRE scores are not required and, if submitted, will not be considered during the admissions decision process.

    Non-Native English Speaker Information
    Graduate School requirement: English language proficiency (ELP) is required for graduate study at the University of Washington. Therefore, every applicant whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency as outlined in Graduate School Policy 3.2.
