If you indicate that you will be submitting a Medium of Instruction document to prove English language proficiency, please ensure that this document is included within your application before you submit. The document should specifically state the language of instruction at your educational institution if it is submitted as proof of English proficiency. Any documents submitted that do not specifically state this information will not be accepted as Medium of Instruction documentation. GRE Requirements GRE Requirement: Not Considered. GRE scores are not required and, if submitted, will not be considered during the admissions decision process. Additional Instructions Letters of recommendation must be submitted electronically through this system; letters submitted in hard copy by mail or via services like Interfolio will not be accepted. Please note that only two letters of recommendation will be reviewed with your application. If you request more than two letters of recommendation from recommenders, only the first two letters of recommendation submitted will be reviewed. If you would like a letter submitted after the two letters to be considered part of your application, it is your responsibility to reach out to healthms@uw.edu to request that a previous letter be dropped and your preferred letter to be considered. Non-Native English Speaker Information Graduate School requirement: English language proficiency (ELP) is required for graduate study at the University of Washington. Therefore, every applicant whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency as outlined in Graduate School Policy 3.2.
