Therefore, every applicant whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency as outlined in Graduate School Policy 3.2. Program requirement: Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by meeting the RECOMMENDED SCORES to satisfy the Graduate School’s English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirement. We will accept the TOEFLI or TOEFLB scores of 92 or higher, Duolingo scores of 125 or higher, and IELTS scores of 7.0 or higher; check the website for additional ways to demonstrate English proficiency. International Student Information If admitted to the program, international students requesting an F1 or J1 visa will be required to provide financial ability documentation to the UW Graduate School.
