Priority Deadline (January 15, 2026) Students who submit their applications by January 15, 2026, will be considered for fellowship opportunities and will receive an admissions decision by mid-February.
Final Deadline (May 15, 2026) This is the last opportunity to apply for admission to the program. Fellowship awards are not available for applications submitted after January 15, 2026. Admission decisions will be released by early-June, and admitted applicants must confirm their enrollment by June 15, 2026.
Contact Information Student Affairs and Admissions Office Program Website +1 206-543-4900 evansadm@uw.edu Requirements and Prerequisites A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the public, nonprofit, or private sectors and hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the U.S. or its equivalent from a foreign institution. A minimum 3.0 grade-point-average on a 4 point scale (or equivalent measures of performance if a graduate of an institution with no grading system) for those credits earned at the institution awarding the bachelor’s degree OR at least a 3.0 grade-point-average (on a 4 point scale) for the last 90 graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits. For more information please refer to Policy 3.1 Graduate Admissions. GRE Requirements GRE Requirement: Not Considered. GRE scores are not required and, if submitted, will not be considered during the admissions decision process. Additional Instructions None Non-Native English Speaker Information Graduate School requirement: English language proficiency (ELP) is required for graduate study at the University of Washington. Therefore, every applicant whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency as outlined in Graduate School Policy 3.2. International Student Information If admitted to the program, international students requesting an F1 or J1 visa will be required to provide financial ability documentation to the UW Graduate School. The Executive MPA is not a degree program that will qualify an international student for an F-1 student visa.
