GRE Requirements GRE Requirement: Not Considered. GRE scores are not required and, if submitted, will not be considered during the admissions decision process. Additional Instructions You MUST complete a Graduate School application online before your application will be considered. Note that there is no application for financial aid required. The Allen School offers all students admitted to the program funding in the form of Teaching Assistantships or Research Assistantships, guaranteed for a minimum of three years. Non-Native English Speaker Information Graduate School requirement: English language proficiency (ELP) is required for graduate study at the University of Washington. Therefore, every applicant whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency as outlined in Graduate School Policy 3.2. Program requirement: Applications are evaluated with self-reported scores, and the test will need to be verified by the Graduate School before admitted students will be allowed to register.
