    Requirements and Prerequisites
    Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the U.S. or its equivalent from a foreign institution.

    Have earned at least a 3.0 or B grade-point-average in the most recent 2 years of study. 

    Applicants to the Civil & Environmental Engineering department must have a civil engineering, or other related engineering degree in order to be eligible to apply. Those without an engineering degree should contact the Construction Management department.

    GRE Requirements
    GRE Requirement: Not Considered. GRE scores are not required and, if submitted, will not be considered during the admissions decision process.
    Additional Instructions
    Letters of recommendation must be submitted online in order to be considered. Letters sent by any other means will not be reviewed. 

    Non-Native English Speaker Information
    Graduate School requirement: English language proficiency (ELP) is required for graduate study at the University of Washington. Therefore, every applicant whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency as outlined in Graduate School Policy 3.2.

    International Student Information
    Applicants who will need a visa should reference the International Applicant Information page. If admitted to the program, international students requesting an F-1 or J-1 visa will be required to provide financial ability documentation to the UW Graduate School.

    International students are not eligible to receive an F-1 visa I-20 or the J-1 DS-2019 from the University of Washington for this program.
