Program admits a new cohort every three years. Applications for the current admissions cycle are due February 1, 2027, for the cohort beginning July 2027. The following opportunity to apply will be in early 2030 for the cohort beginning in July of that year. Note that the application process and goal statement prompts are specific to the L4L program. Prerequisite: Master’s degree from an accredited institution. Your degree can be in progress when applying but must be completed before program starts. Transcripts If you have not uploaded transcripts in the online application, please mail transcripts from all schools attended in the last five years and all schools in which you have earned a degree and/or certificate. GRE Requirements GRE Requirement: Not Considered. GRE scores are not required and, if submitted, will not be considered during the admissions decision process. Non-Native English Speaker Information Graduate School requirement: English language proficiency (ELP) is required for graduate study at the University of Washington. Therefore, every applicant whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency as outlined in Graduate School Policy 3.2.
