    Requirements and Prerequisites

    • Online Applicant Profile with the UW Grad School
    • Essays (two required, one optional)
    • Reverse chronological resume, including months and years
    • One recommendation from current supervisor or direct manager (or a TMMBA-approved alternative)
    • Admissions Exam Score (GMAT, GRE or Executive Assessment) or Test Optional Statement of Qualification; expired scores (older than 5 years) accepted
    • Unofficial transcripts*:
      o   Applicants are required to have a 4-year U.S.-accredited baccalaureate degree or accepted international equivalent
      o   A minimum 3.0 GPA for previous degree (applicants with less than the minimum required should contact TMMBA admissions to discuss options)
    • Proof of English Language Proficiency (if your native language is not English); review Policy 3.2 details
    • $90 non-refundable application fee
    *If offered admission, you must submit official transcripts to the UW Graduate School.

    Note: Applicants requiring a student visa are not eligible for admission to the TMMBA program. Please see program website for information. 

    Important scheduling information:

    • This program is delivered 90% in person. If you have concerns about your ability to attend in-person classes consistently, please consult with the program office prior to application.
    • The TMMBA program begins with a required 7-day Program Immersion, November 2025, requiring you to take time off work.

    GRE Requirements
    GRE Requirement: Optional/Not Required. Submitting GRE scores is not required. However, if official scores are submitted, they may be considered during the review process.

    The TMMBA curriculum is fast-paced and heavily quantitative. While submitting a test score is optional, applicants must demonstrate their readiness for this level of rigor.

    If you choose not to submit a test score, select "Yes" below.

    You will then be asked to provide specific evidence from your academic (undergraduate or graduate) and/or professional experience that demonstrates your quantitative preparedness for the program, e.g. a STEM or business degree.
    Additional Instructions Test scores and the online recommendation may be updated after submitting application, however your application must be fully complete by the deadline.

    Non-Native English Speaker Information
    Graduate School requirement: English language proficiency (ELP) is required for graduate study at the University of Washington. Therefore, every applicant whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency as outlined in Graduate School Policy 3.2.
