    Additional Instructions
There are three application rounds; we encourage you to apply early. Applications received after a deadline will be carried over to the next application round. Please do not send hard copy materials via mail.

    Priority Round: November 5, 2024
    Round 1: December 10, 2024
    Round 2: January 14, 2025

Many items are manually marked as received. Allow at least 5 US business days before contacting us to verify materials. Your application will not be considered complete and will not be reviewed until all application materials, including the KIRA video interview, have been received.

Clear, professional writing makes a strong first impression and allows us to best assist you. Likewise, evidence of independent research, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities is an asset. Answers to many questions can be found on our website—please review it carefully before submitting your application. If you need additional clarification, please email the program (fostermsba@uw.edu).

    Online Video Interview
All applicants must complete a short video interview. Video Interview instructions are sent within 3-5 US business days of receiving your submitted application.

You will need a computer with internet access, a webcam, microphone, and keyboard (you may also use a smartphone). The video interview allows us to get to know you better, assess your communication skills and ability to think quickly and creatively. We are interested in your unique thoughts and experiences, and encourage you to avoid the temptation of AI.

We will be in touch within a few business days of your application submission with further instructions on how to complete the video interview. Applicants will have until the application deadline to submit their video interview or an additional five business days to complete the interview if submitting their application on the deadline.

    Recommendations
Two recommendation letters are required. Preferably, recommendations should be provided by professional contacts versus personal contacts. If you do not have professional work experience, you may use academic contacts.

Designate your recommenders in your online application profile. Recommenders will immediately receive an email directing them to an online form where they will upload a letter of recommendation. Please do not enter recommender information until you are ready for them to be contacted.
Recommendations must be received before applications are considered complete and ready for review. It is strongly encouraged that you follow-up directly with your recommender to ensure letters are uploaded before the deadline.
