    Requirements and Prerequisites
    1. Global MBA applicants must be currently enrolled at select International Partner Universities.
    2. At enrollment, completion of equivalent Foster first-year MBA core
    3. Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT), GMAT Focus Edition, or Graduate Record Exam (GRE)

    Domestic/U.S. applicants do not qualify for the Global MBA. Before applying, contact Foster MBA Admissions to determine eligibility, requirements and deadlines.

    If intending to apply to the Full-time MBA Program, create a new and correct application profile. This is not the correct application for the Full-time MBA Program. 

    GRE Requirements
    GRE Requirement: Optional/Not Required. Submitting GRE scores is not required. However, if official scores are submitted, they may be considered during the review process.
    More Information: Applicants to the Global MBA Program can select to submit either the GRE or the GMAT.
    Additional Instructions
    The Foster School of Business Global MBA Program is a joint effort between Foster and select International MBA programs to increase the diversity of talented international MBAs at the University of Washington. This one year program affords students the opportunity to take second-year Foster electives to earn both an MBA from your home International University and an MBA from Foster. 

    Non-Native English Speaker Information
    Graduate School requirement: English language proficiency (ELP) is required for graduate study at the University of Washington. Therefore, every applicant whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency as outlined in Graduate School Policy 3.2.

    International Student Information
    Applicants who will need a visa should reference the International Applicant Information page. If admitted to the program, international students requesting an F-1 or J-1 visa will be required to provide financial ability documentation to the UW Graduate School.

    This is not a transfer or one-year degree program. Only students from specific International MBA programs are eligible to apply. Before submitting an application, contact your current MBA program or Foster Admissions to determine eligibility, requirements and deadlines.
