    For Summer 2027 Applicants

    October 15, 2026:  Early admission deadline. Applicants will be notified of their admission status by December 1, 2026. 

    January 15, 2027:  Final application deadline for international students.  Applicants will be notified of their admission status by March 1, 2027.

    April 1, 2027: Final application deadline for US citizens. Applicants will be notified of their admission status by April 15, 2027.

    To qualify for $20,000 early application scholarship, you must submit application with all required documents by Oct 15, 2026, and upon acceptance, make a $5,500 non-refundable deposit by December 15, 2026.

    GRE Requirements
    GRE Requirement: Optional/Not Required. Submitting GRE scores is not required. However, if official scores are submitted, they may be considered during the review process.
    More Information: We are currently test optional.
    Additional Instructions
    GMAT is optional. Applicants with scores may submit as supplemental information. The GEMBA Program code is 459-75-40.

    Non-Native English Speaker Information
    Graduate School requirement: English language proficiency (ELP) is required for graduate study at the University of Washington. Therefore, every applicant whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency as outlined in Graduate School Policy 3.2.

    International Student Information
    Applicants who will need a visa should reference the International Applicant Information page. If admitted to the program, international students requesting an F1 or J1 visa will be required to provide financial ability documentation to the UW Graduate School.

    Due to the time needed for visa processing international applicants are strongly encouraged to apply by the October 1 deadline.  Applications received after the final deadline date of January 10 will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

    If offered admission to the GEMBA Program, international applicants must submit official transcripts and a Financial Ability Form (available on the online application status page) showing adequate financial resources to cover the cost of the year of study.
