GRE Requirements GRE Requirement: Not Considered. GRE scores are not required and, if submitted, will not be considered during the admissions decision process. Additional Instructions Math is primarily a PhD program and we do not provide any funding support for master's students. Read more at our website for additional information. If you are applying to the MS Math while concurrently enrolled in another graduate program at UW, you should submit one letter of recommendation which should come from your thesis/dissertation faculty advisor or the faculty graduate program director/coordinator. Their letter should indicate their support for your concurrent degree. If you are not a current UW student, please submit 3 letters of recommendation. Non-Native English Speaker Information Graduate School requirement: English language proficiency (ELP) is required for graduate study at the University of Washington.
