The minimum required grade point average is 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for the last 60 semester or the last 90 quarter credits. Students whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency. GRE not accepted. GRE Requirements GRE Requirement: Not Considered. GRE scores are not required and, if submitted, will not be considered during the admissions decision process. Additional Instructions Submit email addresses of recommenders at least 4-6 weeks ahead of the deadline in order to give recommenders time to submit letters. Once your application is submitted you cannot make changes to your personal statement or CV. We do not accept updates to your personal statement, CV or transcript after the application deadline has passed. Non-Native English Speaker Information Graduate School requirement: English language proficiency (ELP) is required for graduate study at the University of Washington.
