The minimum required grade point average is 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for the last 60 semester or the last 90 quarter credits. Students whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency. GRE not accepted. Non-Native English Speaker Information Graduate School requirement: English language proficiency (ELP) is required for graduate study at the University of Washington. Therefore, every applicant whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency as outlined in Graduate School Policy 3.2. Program requirement: Students who are not native speakers of English must meet minimum English language proficiency: TOEFL iBT: 92. A score of ≥26 on the speaking section is required in order to be exempt from further English testing.
