    Requirements and Prerequisites
    A minimum 3.0 grade-point-average on a 4-point scale (or equivalent measures of performance if a graduate of an institution with a non-numerical grading system) for all credits earned at the institution awarding the bachelor’s degree OR at least a 3.0 grade-point-average (on a 4-point scale) for the last 90 graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits. For more information, please refer to Policy 3.1 Graduate Admissions.
     
    Incoming students with a quantitative bachelor's degree (e.g. business, real estate or engineering/construction etc.), can pursue this pathway as they should have previously completed coursework in all the following areas: Basic statistics, introductory accounting and/or financial reporting, introductory management techniques, and introductory data visualization techniques.  If you have successfully completed these quantitative courses, you can apply for the advanced standing MSRE. This, however, does not guarantee acceptance under the advanced standing.

    GRE Requirement: Not Considered. GRE scores are not required and, if submitted, will not be considered during the admissions decision process.
    Additional Instructions
    Please be certain you list all colleges attended on the Application History page. Regarding the letters of recommendation, we suggest you provide each of your evaluators with a copy of your statement of purpose to help them prepare a better letter of evaluation.

    Non-Native English Speaker Information
    Graduate School requirement: English language proficiency (ELP) is required for graduate study at the University of Washington. Therefore, every applicant whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency as outlined in Graduate School Policy 3.2.

    Program requirement: Minimum TOEFL: 92 (IBT), 237 TOEFL (C), 580 TOEFL. Minimum IELTS:  7.0 Minimum
